What Makes Kalari Yoga Classes Unique

Traditional Foundation

Our classes are rooted in ancient Indian yogic wisdom, with special emphasis on Kalari Yoga, classical Asanas, and Pranayama. The teachings honor tradition while adapting safely to modern lifestyles.

Strong Focus on Spine & Backbone Health

The spine is the foundation of longevity and vitality. Daily practice includes:

  • Spinal strengthening and flexibility
  • Core stability and posture correction
  • Safe forward bends, backbends, twists, and extensions

This helps reduce back pain, improve mobility, and support healthy aging.

Breath-Centered Practice

Every class integrates pranayama and breath awareness:

  • Breath synchronized with movement
  • Techniques to calm the nervous system
  • Improved lung capacity and energy balance

Breath is taught as a tool for strength, relaxation, and mental focus.

Balanced Class Structure

 Each daily session typically includes:

  • Gentle warm-up and joint conditioning
  • Dynamic and static asana practice
  • Spine-focused strengthening
  • Pranayama (breath techniques)
  • Short meditation or relaxation
